One of the main tools for light measurement is an integrating sphere. An integrating sphere captures all the radiation from a light source at the same time. When it comes to light measurement, there are a few major characteristics of a lamp that manufacturers and end-users find most important. This video is the first in a series of four which guides the user through the steps of using an integrating sphere, doing a calibration, and working with the resultant data.
